Latino World Travelers is a safe space for our Latino/x community to connect with other travelers, and share in our collective experiences. We use our platform to spotlight our very under-represented and under-marketed community and bring us to the forefront of the travel industry. We want to help you, not just explore, but experience the world and diversity the face of travel so we can see more of us out there. Meet Our Founder & Travel Coach, Vanessa Fondeur-Adams
Vanessa is a vibrant Dominican speaker, educator, and entrepreneur who has always had a vision for growing a community that diversifies the face of travel. Her mission is to ignite her passion for travel onto others.
Her first time on an airplane was when she came to the United States at 17yrs old. However, it wasn’t until her study abroad trip to Spain, France, and Portugal in 2006 that she discovered her passion for traveling. Vanessa caught the travel bug, and became unstoppable. She has traveled to 30 countries, 36 states, and 6 continents, and even hosted her wedding in Thailand. She is very proud to represent her culture wherever she goes.
One thing always stood out to her – there weren’t as many Latinos/x exploring the world as she would like to see. She kept seeking to connect with other travelers of her cultural background so in 2015, she founded a travel group on Facebook for and by Latinos/x. Latino World Travelers has become a community where all of us come together to share ideas and experiences, ask questions about upcoming travels, and promote traveling worldwide.
